ABOUT US

We’re a small studio of two, Ishac Bertran and Jonathan Wohl, based in Brooklyn and Wisconsin. Ishac is a product designer and engineer from Barcelona, and Jonathan is a furniture builder with a technology background from Wisconsin.

Over the past decade we’ve worked on a number of projects together, including digital and physical products, interactive art installations, and tools for art curation and exhibition.

With our history of fruitful collaboration, we decided to create an umbrella for our creative output with a loose purpose: to develop concepts, explore ideas, prototype, iterate, and ultimately share our work with the public.

That’s how Elements was born. As much as anything, it’s formalizing an excuse to continue learning and working together. At the moment, we’re exploring simple modular furniture; it will no doubt expand to include other fields we’re excited about.
